The EMBOS Data Handling and Analysis Workshop was successfully held at HCMR-Crete, from 16 to 19 December 2014. During the workshop, participants of the EMBOS project (ESSEM COST Action ES1003 - Development and implementation of a pan-European Marine Biodiversity Observatory System) analyzed several datasets that were produced from pilot studies conducted during the spring of 2014 along the European coastline (from the Eastern Mediterranean to the North Sea). The workshop gave the opportunity to the EMBOS participants to discuss with the Lifewatch Data Managers on issues regarding their datasets and familiarize with web services and data quality control tools.
